After graduating from the University of Miami, Clay worked for a period of 11 years with the Law Firm of High, Stack, Lazenby, Palahach, Maxwell & Morgan where he concentrated his practice in the area of plaintiff's personal injury litigation. During that time frame he worked his way up to a partner of the firm's Melbourne Law Office where he practiced until February of 1997 when he left the firm and opened his own practice with a concentration in Personal Injury Litigation.

In January of 1999, Clay Morgan and Patrick Barbary merged their practices to form the Law Firm of Morgan & Barbary, P.A. which limited its practice to the areas of personal injury, criminal law, and family law. Since that time, the Law Firm of Morgan & Barbary has grown to six attorneys and now practices in the areas of personal injury litigation, criminal law, family law, probate, bankruptcy, and defense litigation. The Law Firm of Morgan & Barbary is dedicated to providing quality legal service in every field at a reasonable price.

Clay Morgan is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Brevard County Bar Association, and the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers. He is licensed to practice law in all Florida State Courts as well as the United States District Court Southern District and Middle District of Florida.

Clay and his wife, Maggie, and their children, Robert and Emily, are long-time residents of Melbourne, Florida. Clay is a third-degree black belt at Tae Kwon Do and a senior black belt instructor at The Family Tae Kwon Do Center in Melbourne and spends his spare time coaching soccer.
